A portfolio you step into.
Sarah Ellen Brown is a London-based freelance creative working in graphic design, branding and art direction. We built her portfolio as a single scroll experience: a pinned scene that steps through a portal, layers that follow the mouse, a nine-card arc of her work, and her sixteen projects, testimonials and contact details below.
The problem
A designer's site should feel designed.
A portfolio is the first piece of work a client sees, so a template undersells it.
This one is built to be explored: the scroll carries you into the scene before the work appears.
What we built
A pinned scene
One stage held in place while the scroll plays it through, written by hand with requestAnimationFrame.
Layered parallax
Mouse-led depth across the portal, curtains, world and clouds.
An arc of cards
A nine-card arc slider that leads into the work.
